I have been lusting after Le Creuset for about three years now, but getting a piece was never a priority. Well, some generous family members gave me some money for my birthday, so I pooled it together and gave Big Red a nice new home. I’m planning on making beef stew later this week, so I think that will be her inaugural meal… so excited!!

I love Le Creuset Dutch ovens! I have two of them and use them all the time. I’ve got a pretty good bit of their baking pieces, and those are amazing as well. You can’t go wrong with Le Creuset. I hope you have many yummy dinners with yours 🙂

Yay! So pretty, I love the red. You will love it and find many uses for it! I just used mine last night to make a yummy pasta sauce.

Congratulations, you can’t go wrong, just remember to be patient and give it time to heat up. No going over medium heat or you considerably shorten big red’s lifespan.

Chelle- LeCreuset baking dishes are great! If you go on their website you can see the full collection, but I have the square dish and the small and large rectangular dish. I definitely recommend them!

oooh… i saw these on the W-S website when we were doing our registry… i was very tempted to put one on because jon’s mom speaks so highly of cast iron cookware. they had a really pretty blue one that i was eyeing.
maybe i’ll just add it anyways so i can get 10% off after the wedding as part of the completion program, lol.
